Estrella Godinez
Estrella Godinez is a doctoral student in Counselor Education at Sam Houston State University with a strong foundation in both clinical practice and research. Her work has focused on the mental health needs of immigrant youth in school settings, adolescents with borderline personality disorder, and the impact of insecure parental attachment on risky behaviors in youth. She is also the author of A Yearning Desire (Un Deseo Anhelante), a bilingual short story featured in Serving Refugee Children. She has helped develop counseling training materials for school administrators.
In her clinical practice, Estrella supports adolescents as they navigate life transitions, anxiety, depression, and thoughts of suicide. She also works with high-functioning adults coping with stress and burnout, as well as couples facing challenges such as infidelity, communication struggles, and unresolved emotional tension.
Estrella offers culturally responsive therapy and is fluent in Spanish, providing inclusive and compassionate care to Latinx individuals and families. She blends her research and clinical experience to create a warm, person-centered space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow.

Madison Prigmore
I’m a Master’s level counseling intern in my final semester of graduate training and a pre-licensed mental health professional. I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions, as well as couples seeking support in their relationships.
My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy to offer personalized, evidence-based care that helps clients build resilience and reclaim their stories. I have extensive training in trauma-informed care, including a 13-hour Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) training, a 40-hour Sexual Assault Training, and the Social-Behavioral-Educational Researchers Training. These experiences have deepened my ability to support clients with empathy, clarity, and sensitivity to the impact of trauma.
Above all, I strive to create a warm and nonjudgmental space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season or looking to deepen your self-understanding, I look forward to walking alongside you in your journey toward healing and growth.

Trevor Hall
I’m a Master’s level counseling intern in my final semester of graduate training and a pre-licensed mental health professional. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space for individuals of all ages, from young adults to older adults, who are working through anxiety, mood disorders, grief, and trauma.
With training and experience in trauma-informed care, I approach each client with empathy, curiosity, and respect for their unique story. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns, but above all, I believe in meeting people where they are and working together to find what feels most helpful. My goal is to support clients in building resilience, deepening self-understanding, and moving toward meaningful, lasting change.
